Our Career Coaches at Tierney Education are dedicated professionals committed to supporting individuals in achieving their career goals and personal development. Our current career coach is Allie Grill. Allie's unique blend of experience in education, leadership development, and career services positions her perfectly to help you navigate your own career path. She understands the challenges faced by today's students and professionals, and is passionate about helping you find and achieve a career that is both personally fulfilling and successful.
Allie meets with students virtually via Zoom and occasionally makes the trip out to State College to host group sessions.

Career Coaching Packages
Semester-Long Package ($1,200 or $300/mo)
Package Includes:
Intake Meeting (1 hour)
An initial session to discuss the student's goals for the semester, including internship, job, research, or graduate school aspirations.
Biweekly Meetings (30-45 minutes, every two weeks)
Regular check-ins to review progress, set goals, and discuss strategies for achieving career objectives.
Tailored guidance and support based on the student's specific needs and objectives.
Monthly Parental Consultation (30 minutes)
A monthly meeting with parents to provide updates on the student's progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
Exit Meeting (1 hour)
A concluding session to review the semester's achievements, discuss lessons learned, and create a plan for future career development.

This package is designed to provide comprehensive support and guidance throughout the semester, helping students achieve their career goals. Meetings can be added to existing tutoring sessions or conducted separately.
Career Exploration Package ($349)
This package is designed to provide students with a thorough exploration of career options, utilizing personalized consultations and the MBTI assessment to enhance self-awareness and decision-making.
Package Includes:
Intake Consultation (1 hour)
A comprehensive session to understand the student's background, interests, and career aspirations.
Profile Evaluation and Research
Detailed evaluation of the student profile.
Conduct thorough research to identify suitable career paths.
Develop a personalized career plan.
Plan Consultation (1 hour)
A dedicated session to explain the research findings and the tailored career plan.
Opportunity for the student to ask questions and gain clarity on the suggested path.
Add-On Option ($199 - Includes the cost of the assessment):
MBTI Consultation (1 hour)
The student will need an hour to take the exam prior to the session. The MBTI Consultation is an additional hour-long session dedicated to discussing the MBTI assessment results. The career coach will release the results after the follow up session.
Helps in understanding the student’s personality type and how it relates to potential career choices.
LinkedIn Package ($349)
This package is designed to help students create a compelling LinkedIn profile that effectively showcases their professional brand and attracts potential employers or networking opportunities.
Package Includes:
Intake Meeting (1 hour)
An initial session to understand the student’s career goals and target audience on LinkedIn.
Profile Evaluation by Consultant
Thorough evaluation of the student’s current LinkedIn profile.
Identify areas for improvement and optimization to enhance visibility and professionalism.
LinkedIn Revamp by Consultant
Professional enhancement and revamp of the LinkedIn profile by the consultant.
Ensure the profile is engaging, well-organized, and aligned with the student’s career objectives.
Follow-Up and Final Critique Meeting (1 hour)
Review the revamped LinkedIn profile with the student.
Provide final feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Offer tips on how to effectively use LinkedIn for networking and job searching.
Interview Prep Package ($399)
This package is designed to comprehensively prepare students for interviews, enhancing their skills and confidence through personalized coaching, practice, and feedback.
Package Includes:
Intake Meeting (1 hour)
An initial session to gather detailed information about the student’s background, experiences, skills, and career objectives.
Resume Consultation Meeting (1 hour)
A personalized session to review the current resume.
Discuss strengths and areas for improvement.
Provide guidance on resume formatting, content, and how to effectively highlight qualifications.
Resume Revamp by Consultant
Professional enhancement and revamp of the resume by the consultant.
Ensure the resume is polished, tailored to the student’s career goals, and aligned with industry standards.
Follow-Up Meeting (1 hour)
Review the revamped resume with the student.
Make any final adjustments and address any questions.
Provide tips on how to customize the resume for different job applications.
Resume Package ($399)
This package is designed to help students create a compelling resume that effectively showcases their skills and experiences, improving their chances of securing job interviews.
Package Includes:
Intake Meeting (1 hour)
An initial session to understand the student’s background, the position they are applying for, and specific concerns or areas of focus for the interview.
Interview Coaching Meeting (1 hour)
Personalized coaching to cover key interview strategies.
Discuss common interview questions and effective responses.
Tips on body language, communication skills, and building confidence.
Mock Interview & Feedback Meeting (1 hour)
Conduct a simulated interview tailored to the job or field the student is targeting.
Provide constructive feedback and areas for improvement to enhance performance.
Follow-Up Meeting (1 hour)
Review progress since the mock interview.
Address any additional concerns or questions.
Finalize strategies and ensure the student feels prepared and confident for their actual interview.
