How to Use the Planner?
Start your semester off on the right foot with my Academic Success Course Planner. This Google Sheets workbook was created to help you organize and keep track of your course information, assignments, and deadlines throughout the marking period (semester, quarter, year, you name it!). The planner includes a class overview that organizes all of the important course information, a weekly course review tab to keep track of each week, and an assignments tab which provides a semester overview of all assessments that will keep on you track for a successful semester.
This planner is designed to be used throughout the semester, and can be adapted to any level of education. To do it correctly, it should take about a half-hour per course to fill out. Then, each week you use the Weekly Course Review tab to stay organized!
Why Did I Create the Planner?
As a large-lecture faculty member in the economics department at Penn State University, I noticed many students would fall behind not because the material was difficult, but rather because they would miss deadlines and lose easy points throughout the semester. Then, once they fell behind, they were overwhelmed and unable to make a come back.
When I started Tierney Education, I knew I needed something to help my students. In order to help them, and to help all students be successful in their courses, I created the Academic Success Course Planner. This workbook has helped me keep my coaching students on track, and has helped them to be successful in their courses. I know it will help you too!
