Allie Grill
Career Coach
Allie (Troxell) Grill wasn't always a career coach. In fact, her teenage years were spent working alongside her family, hauling cases of beer and wiping down tables at their local pub in Berwick, PA. But Allie knew there was more to life than slinging drinks. She craved knowledge and a chance to help others find their purpose.
That's why she pursued a double major in creative writing and education at Bucknell University. While there, she was actively involved in campus life, joining the Chi Omega Fraternity, the symphonic band, and working at the university library. This well-rounded experience fueled Allie's curiosity about the bigger picture of education, particularly how it prepares students for the future.
Allie's passion for education led her to pursue a Master's of Science in Educational Leadership at Miami University. There, she gained valuable experience through a graduate assistantship in residence life and internships in student conduct, college teaching, and career services.
Since graduating in 2012, Allie has dedicated herself to working and teaching at colleges and universities that prioritize developing future leaders. Her experience spans institutions like The Evergreen State College, Pacific Lutheran University, and most recently, Susquehanna University, where she serves as the Director of the University's Career Development Center and an adjunct faculty member in the Sigmund Weis School of Business.
Allie's unique blend of experience in education, leadership development, and career services positions her perfectly to help you navigate your own career path. She understands the challenges faced by today's students and professionals, and is passionate about helping you find and achieve a career that is both personally fulfilling and successful.
