Faculty coaching focuses on navigating the process of setting up and executing an organized, evidence-based classroom. When you sign up for academic coaching, founder James Tierney will meet with you weekly or biweekly and keep you focused on your semester. When you and James meet you will:
Go over strategies for syllabus creation.
Review your goals and create systems that form long-lasting teaching habits.
Set weekly, monthly, and semester-long milestones.
Talk about the learning science and how to implement strategies in the classroom.
Discuss best practices for assessment.
Work on presentation skills and how to own the classroom.
Each faculty member’s experience with coaching will be different, and James will make each session personalized to specific needs.
Coaching starts at $100 per 45-minute session.
Classroom Visits
If you are looking for a guest lecture in your classroom on any macroeconomic topic, entrepreneurship, or learning science, reach out today, and we can discuss options. This can be done in the classroom or virtually over Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet.
With experience teaching both economics and entrepreneurship, as well as starting his own improv comedy theatre, James can provide an engaging classroom visit that hits on learning objectives you set.
