Om Patil is originally from Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Finance with a Minor in Computational Sciences at Penn State. He is actively involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity, and the Nittany Lion Fund, a student-run investment fund, where he previously served as the Lead of the Financials Sector and now serves as the Director of ESG. He also co-founded the Quantitative Finance Society at Penn State. Next summer, he will be interning at Guggenheim Partners in New York City as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Beyond academics and career pursuits, Om has a strong connection to the West Coast, where he developed a love for the outdoors, particularly hiking, backpacking, and climbing. He enjoys trying new hobbies and has recently been learning how to fly fish. Passionate about travel, he loves planning detailed itineraries and is looking forward to visiting Chile and Japan in the coming year. He is excited to join the Tierney Education team and looks forward to working with students.
