Maya Champ is a fifth-year student at Penn State majoring in Accounting with minors in Spanish and Information Systems Management. Originally from Westerly, RI, she chose Penn State to step out of her comfort zone and experience the community of a large university. She graduated in December 2025 and will be joining PwC full-time this summer in Dallas, TX, in their State and Local Tax Division. As a student, she participated in the MAcc program, which has provided her with numerous opportunities, including the chance to travel and live in a new state. Maya has also been involved as a teaching assistant and a volunteer tutor for middle school students. With a longstanding passion for teaching, she is excited to join the Tierney Education team and support students in their academic journeys.
