Leona is a second year honors student at Penn State major in Applied Data Science and Mathematics and minoring in Economics and Statistics. She intends to pursue a masters in applied mathematics or financial engineering upon graduation from Penn State in May of 2027. She is also a research assistant at the FAIR Lab through the College of IST where she focuses on the analysis of using LLMs for decision-making as compared to human benchmarks.

Random Fact: She was her high school's mascot (Buster the Bulldog)!
