Jac Wandzura
Math Tutor
The first time Jac ever tutored someone was at high school when, during PE, a fellow student yelled, "Hey, you're that girl that's good with math! Could you help me?" and she did. She has always loved math, and learned to love teaching math to others even more.
Before attending college, Jac had the opportunity to intern at Wolfram Research in Champaign, IL, coding in Mathematica and enjoying the company of other interns from around the world.
After completing her BS in Mathematics at UC Irvine, she joined her first tutoring company, solidifying math education as an integral part of her life.
While at UCI, she discovered a profound love for improv comedy. She loves improv and, as one might guess, she loves teaching it even more. For over a decade now, math tutoring and improv have been foundational aspects of her life, often surprising both her fellow improvisers and students. To her, it all connects through a common thread of asking, "If this is true, then what else is true?"
Jac firmly believes that anyone can excel in math when guided by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructor who listens to their needs and fosters a safe learning environment. Her mission is to be exactly that—a dedicated educator who empowers her students to unlock their mathematical potential.
