Ben Molnar

Math & Physics Tutor

Ben is a second-year aerospace engineering student at Penn State. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, he will always have a special place for the city in his heart. Over the past few summers, he has lived in Europe due to his father’s work, where he has enjoyed traveling and learning about the history and cultures of Italy, France, and Germany. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cooking, playing basketball, video games, and spending time with his dogs. His first year at Penn State was a blast, academically excelling with a 3.9 GPA, and his favorite classes have been Math 220 and Physics 211/212. Growing up with four siblings, he developed a passion for helping them with their homework, which has evolved into a love for mentoring others toward a common goal. Recently, he has been assisting his housemates with their classes, honing his mentoring skills. He is excited to graduate and aspires to work in the aircraft or defense industry. He looks forward to bringing his passion for helping others to the Tierney Education team.

Random Fact: He was named after Ben Roethlisberger, GO 'LERS!
