Andrew is a Senior studying Aerospace Engineering focused on in-atmosphere applications and is planning to minor in Engineering Mechanics. He has always loved math and science from a very young age, and wants to combine this with his passion for aviation to continue to make air travel as safe as possible. After graduation, Andrew hopes to work for a major aircraft manufacturer or work for the military to help design some of the most cutting-edge aircraft in the world. Andrew also mentors students academically as an Engineering Peer Advising Leader through the College of Engineering. This past summer, Andrew worked as a Systems Engineering intern in the Washington D.C. area at a small defense company.
Andrew grew up in Massachusetts spending much of his time on the waterfront operating vessels ranging from 13’ to 120’ in length. He loves spending time boating and then skiing during the winter months. Outside of classes, Andrew spends most of his time outside of class either at the gym or the golf course and will be listening to country music through all of it. His senior year in high school, Andrew’s passion for aviation led him to pursue his pilot’s license. If you’ve seen a small plane flying around Penn State football game tailgates, that’s probably him!
